When I was looking for a rotary tool, I compared Dremel 8200 vs 8220, I decided to experiment with both tools to choose the best of the two. Each rotary tool has its advantages and disadvantages, which I will explain below. I will compare speed, power, grip, weight, and motor brake. More details will follow in this article.

That is a challenge to low-budget users who do not have extra money to spend on the tool. The battery life is quick to recharge but does not last.

Grip

The grip gives you control over the tool, and that results in better accuracy on your projects. You should not be worried about your hands slipping off the rotary tool even when your hands are sweating. 

EZ Twist

With the EZ Twist, you do not need a separate wrench. Twist the nose cap, align it with the collet, slide out the old accessory, slide in the new accessory, and twist the nose cap back on.

Motor brake

The Verdict

If you compare the Dremel 8200 vs 8220, there are slight differences between the two tools. For a lightweight tool, the Dremel 8220 might be a good choice. It has a longer battery than the Dremel 8200, but the battery life could have been better than the included battery. The Dremel 8200 features high speed, maximum power and accuracy.
